A conceptual app experience designed to generate custom tours based on visitors' interests and knowledge on History & Art.
While on Google UX Certificate course I was asked to design a product focused on Education and/or Leisure and decided to reach both topics with this idea.As Archeology is one of my passions a museum tour guide app was my pick. I wanted to provide visitors discoveries and related content to boost their experience between the building walls.
TOUR GUIDES in person are exhaustive and expensive. Paper versions are, in general, incomplete. And audio tour devices guides offered by museums and galleries are limited and old.
People from the 21st century expect much richer experiences even when they visit plural environments like that.
My goal was to create tours based on users' personal interests and develop their knowledge with related content. Because people want more from museum experiences today. And they should.
To sTRUCTURE the project I have started with an important research over museum sites and apps to understand What and How they communicate what they are and do. After coming up with a site/app map and structure I wanted to connect those section with some Hot Topics I wanted to have on the application like Augmented Reality (AR), Cross Content, Social Media and an increasing Accessibility aspect.

With ideas getting clearer it's time to sketch flux and pages. This always allow me to understand the navigation, discover flaws and conduct changes. Some content is added, some other joins other sections or pages and with this comes some 'maturing' I need to walk on Visual Design decisions that are coming next.
Futura glyphs’ structure was based on roman stone carved typography. That is why they fit lovely on Headlines.
Google Sans however is brilliant on composing longer texts, and that’s why we have our secondary typeface family.

I tried many tools but none really solve my problem: I'd like to locate inside the museum in a better way. Well, and as I'm a single lad, the chance to meet interesting people with the same passion would be 'belissimo', right?
ADmin user creates an account, and insert the menu options that will be shown as cards to The User. Card appearance and roles can later be customized in type, colors, emojis and the use of images.
OUR USER finds an environment similar to a set of cards. The standard mode shows type-only containers but Admin can also add emojis, images and colors to enhance the experience.
I love to explore and discover. But there is always that 'Jewel of the Crown' you'll miss, noticing it was there right after leaving. That's so frustrating 😒 I'd love to browse through all collections an plan it for home.
